Thank you for the document. We now have a clearer understanding of how the =
IPI-X system operates.
I would like to ask an additional technical question:
If we plan to install the IPI-X system in a 60 m borehole using an IPI gaug=
e length of 2 m, but intend to install only six IPI-X measurement levels, w=
ould this configuration be technically feasible?
Furthermore, would there be any limitations in terms of calibration, data r=
esolution, or mechanical coupling if a reduced number of sensors is used.

1. Additional information about the project
The E-GAT Lao PDR Project requires the installation of a combined system fo=
r measuring both ground movement and ground settlement within the same bore=
hole, at a depth of 60 meters, across two locations (2 holes).
At present, E-GAT Lao PDR has not yet finalized the gauge length of the sen=
sors.
Therefore, we kindly request you to provide quotation options as follows:

*   Option 1.1 =96 Displacement sensors (IPI) installed at 1.5 m interval=
s, and settlement sensors (IPI-X) installed at 1.5 m intervals; borehole de=
pth 60 m, total 2 holes.
  *   Option 1.2 =96 Displacement sensors (IPI) installed at 2 m intervals,=
 and settlement sensors (IPI-X) installed at 2 m intervals; borehole depth =
60 m, total 2 holes.
  *   Option 1.3 =96 Displacement sensors (IPI) installed at 3 m intervals,=

(Only one option will be selected later, depending on the budget and final =

2. Clarification on quotation items
According to the quotation received, please kindly confirm the following:
To install one IPI-X Combined Inclinometer/Extensometer system in a single =
borehole (60 m depth), it is necessary to order both Item =93IN-PLACE INCLI=
NOMETER IPI-V-2-RR (IPI)=94 and Item =93IPI-X EXTENSION ROD (IPI-X)=94 toge=
ther, in order to form a single integrated system capable of measuring both=
 ground movement and ground settlement simultaneously within the same boreh=
ole =97 is that correct?
3. Inquiry on extension rod lengths
Could you please confirm whether the IPI-X Extension Rod is available in mo=
re than one length option (for example, 1 m, 1.5 m, 2 m, or 3 m)?
E-GAT Lao PDR prefers that the IPI and IPI-X sensors have equal gauge lengt=
hs, as shown below:

*   IPI 1.5 m and IPI-X 1.5 m
  *   IPI 2 m and IPI-X 2 m
  *   IPI 3 m and IPI-X 3 m

Project scope
We have two (2) monitoring locations.
Each location has one borehole of approximately 60 m depth.

For each borehole, we require a complete monitoring system consisting of:
=95 IPI-X for continuous lateral displacement monitoring along the borehole
=95 Magnetic extensometer for settlement / vertical displacement in the sam=
e borehole
=95 One Campbell Scientific CR1000Xe data logger (one logger per borehole),=
 delivered ready to use (programmed, wiring / connection diagram, and commu=
nications capability)

Quotation request
The client will select the final specification based on cost versus measure=
ment resolution. For that reason, we need pricing for three alternative des=
ign configurations. These are three full-instrumentation philosophies for t=
he entire ~60 m borehole, not three sensors at three depths.

Please provide a quotation for the following three options:

Option 1 =96 IPI-X using 1.5 m gauge length sections along the full ~60 m b=
orehole
Option 2 =96 IPI-X using 2.0 m gauge length sections along the full ~60 m b=
orehole
Option 3 =96 IPI-X using 3.0 m gauge length sections along the full ~60 m b=
orehole

For each option, please provide the total project cost covering both monito=
ring locations (i.e. both 60 m boreholes), and include the following items =
in that cost:

1.  IPI-X chains for both boreholes
=95 Complete IPI-X assemblies to cover ~60 m depth per borehole, using only=
 the specified gauge length for that option (1.5 m / 2.0 m / 3.0 m)
=95 Bottom Anchor, Top Support, and all required fittings / fixings / acces=
sories
=95 All required ABS/inclinometer casing, couplers/connectors, and end caps=
 (please indicate the casing specification you recommend)

2.  Magnetic extensometer systems for both boreholes
=95 Including targets / rings / anchors in positions you recommend
=95 Please provide the number and suggested placement of targets so that we=
 can correlate lateral movement (IPI-X) with vertical settlement in the sam=
e depth profile

3.  Data acquisition
=95 Two (2) Campbell Scientific CR1000Xe data logger sets (one per borehole=
), delivered ready to deploy
=95 CRBasic program for IPI-X and magnetic extensometer inputs
=95 Wiring / connection diagram
=95 Communications options (Ethernet / Modbus / RS-485 / SDI-12 / optional =
4G, if available)

4.  Commercial / delivery information
=95 Warranty terms (hardware, workmanship, calibration, etc.)
=95 Typical production / delivery lead time
=95 Delivery terms (EXW vs CIF Bangkok)

Why we are asking in this format
Our end client will review Option 1 vs Option 2 vs Option 3 as part of thei=
r budgeting and procurement decision. They must see a clear, project-level =
cost for each configuration (1.5 m / 2.0 m / 3.0 m) in order to select the =
final specification to purchase.

Once we receive these three project prices, we will finalize the BOQ and mo=
ve forward to contract.

Project scope 
We have two (2) monitoring locations. 
Each location has one borehole of approximately 60 m depth.

For each borehole, we require a complete monitoring system consisting of=

=95 Magnetic extensometer for settlement / vertical displacement in the sam=
e borehole 
=95 One Campbell Scientific CR1000Xe data logger (one logger per borehole),=

Quotation request 
The client will select the final specification based on cost versus measure=
ment resolution. For that reason, we need pricing for three alternative des=
ign configurations. These are three full-instrumentation philosophies for t=
he entire ~60 m borehole, not three
 sensors at three depths.

Please provide a quotation for the following three options:

Option 1 =96 IPI-X using 1.5 m gauge length sections along the full ~60 =
m borehole 
Option 2 =96 IPI-X using 2.0 m gauge length sections along the full ~60 m b=
